Current status: Phase VI (adaptation)

Phase I: Project Start, October to December 2004

  • Creation of optimal conditions for project work in the following phases

Phase II: Activation and basic theoretical work / start of model development, January 2005 to April 2005 (4 months)

  • Contextualising and focusing of the potential project target groups in all countries involved 
  • Creation of a theoretical basis for the model development
  • Beginning of model development work 

Phase III: Model and Product Development, May to October 2005 (6 months)

  • Creation of job profiles and standards for experts in digital media design and production
  • Agreeing the provisional evaluation model for the job and qualification profiles
  • Beginning of work on the project curricula

Phase IV: Continuing project development, public relations and interim evaluation, November 2005 to March 2006 (5 months)

  • Continuing development of the curricula
  • Dissemination of  information on the current stage of the project work
  • Public Relations to recruit participants of the pilot events for testing of the materials & models
  • Summary of the current project results, evaluation and interim reports

Phase V: Certification Model, Model- and Product Testing/Pilot Events, April to August 2006 (5 months)

  • Devising the Certification Model
  • Realisation of selected parts of the established materials/models
  • Monitoring of the practicability of the established materials/models
  • Feedback regarding possible changes 

Phase VI: Adaptation/Expansion of the Models, September to December 2006
(4 months)

  • Continuing of the pilot phase
  • Inclusion of the results of the trial phase into the final work on the materials and models
  • Finalising the model for European job and qualification profiles, and standards for measuring continuing education in the field of digital media design and production

Phase VII: Further transnational dissemination of the project results and products and final evaluation, January to March 2007 (3 months)

  • Final sustained dissemination of all project results and products on a regional, national, and transnational basis
  • Summary of the project results
  • Final evaluation and writing the final report
