Conference “Learning-outcome orientation in VET. Approaches and implications in relation to EQF and ECVET”
Conference programme
BFI-Salzburg (www.bfi-sbg.at) has the pleasure of inviting you to the final event of the LEONARDO project EuroMediaStandards (eumesta) which will take place at the Brunauerzentrum, Elisabethstr. 45a, 5020 Salzburg, Austria (www.brunauerzentrum.at), on Thursday, 22nd March 2007. eumesta ("EuroMediaStandards") is a project financed by the "Leonardo da Vinci"-programme ending in March 2007. The aim of the 30-month project was to develop pan-European standards for the concept, planning and realisation of vocational education and training in the digital media sector in order to enhance the employability and mobility of people working in the European digital media industry. The results include occupational profiles, curricula development procedures and the transparent documentation of knowledge, skills and competence provided by a VET-programme. These products have been developed in line with the European Qualifications Framework – EQF, which uses a strict learning-outcomes orientated approach. Eumesta is one of the first projects to work with the EQF-approach. During the conference the results and products of eumesta will be presented and compared with the approaches and outcomes of three other Leonardo-projects dealing (or having dealt) with similar questions: "Embedding Standards", VQTS and "CompTrain". There will be several discussions on specific topics regarding educational implications and consequences also for other areas in VET. The conference is free of charge. The working language is English. Please find a conference programme enclosed. |
